A Room with a View - the director James Ivory

James Ivory is my favourite director. He has created for instance: Maurice (1987), Howards End (1992), The Remains of the Day (1993) and Jefferson in Paris (1995), in addition to A Room with a View, of course. He is almost always working with Ismail Merchant (producer) and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala (writer). He was the 1994 D.W. Griffith Award Winner (excerpt of an article by Carolyn Hill). You could even listen to an interview.
