E. M. Forster wrote some novels and short stories. I would like to recommend the short stories included in Penguin's A life to come and other stories. I have not found them in electronic form yet. The novel Maurice is also very good, it is almost incomprehensible that this novel could not be published at the time because of it's theme. The world has taken a little step forwards since then...
(See the bookstore for books by E. M. Forster).
Some articles on Forster: With Downcast Gays by Andrew Hodges and David Hutter (Chapter 4 is about Forster), Connecting with E.M. Forster by Sidney Perkowitz, A View of E.M. Forster by R.H. Albright, and The Modernist as Pragmatist - E. M. Forster and the Fate of Liberalism by Brian May.
Moreover, there is a home page dedicated to Forster, and a German Forster page with some pictures from some movies and not much more.
Some of Forster's own writing is also available: The Machine Stops (1909), Howard's End, The Longest Journey and Where Angels Fear to Thread.
